Sewing Party Activities

  1. Simple Stuffed Toy Making (No Sewing Machine)

    • Age Suggestion: 5-8 years old
    • Activity Overview: This activity is ideal for younger children and does not require a sewing machine. Participants will create simple stuffed toys. You need to pre-select one or two types of toys, and we will prepare the materials based on the number of participants.
    • Process: We pre-sew the toy outlines. During the party, children will stuff the toys with cotton, sew the openings, and add facial details and other decorations. Throughout the activity, they will learn basic hand-sewing skills such as threading a needle, tying knots, sewing straight lines, and sewing buttons. Each child will take home their finished handmade toy.

  2. Sewing and Beading

    • Age Group: Suitable for all ages
    • Activity Overview: This is a popular activity that everyone can enjoy. Participants will work on a simple sewing project, such as making a star or heart shape, and then create a beaded hanger.
    • Process: In addition to learning basic hand-sewing skills, children will have the opportunity to design and assemble their beaded hangers. At the end of the party, each child will take home their sewn project and beaded creation.

  3. Headwear Crafting

    • Age Group: Suitable for all ages
    • Activity Overview: Participants will create headwear items such as bows or headbands. We will provide the materials in advance, and during the party, children can design their own colors, styles, and sizes. The headwear requires some hand-sewing and can also be decorated.
    • Process: At the end of the party, children can take home their unique headwear creations.

  4. Clothing and Fabric Accessory Decoration

    • Age Group: 8 years and older
    • Activity Overview: This activity is for older children who want to decorate their clothes or other fabric items. We provide special tools and embellishments like beads and rhinestones for decoration.
    • Process: Participants can choose to decorate clothing items, bags, or other fabric accessories. They will learn how to use professional tools for beading and rhinestone application. Each child will leave with their uniquely decorated item.

Pricing for Non-Sewing Machine Activities:

  • Base Fee: $260, which includes up to 8 children. Each additional child is $30.
  • Duration: 2 hours. Exceeding 30 minutes will incur a $50 additional fee; exceeding 1 hour will incur a $100 additional fee.
  • Venue: The party uses one room. For exclusive use of the entire space, the base fee is $360, which includes an additional half-hour
  1. Sewing Machine Party
    • Age Group: 8 years and older
    • Activity Overview: This activity is designed for children aged 8 and above who are interested in learning to use a sewing machine. Depending on their age and experience, they can choose to make toys, bags, skirts, shorts, and more.
    • Process: Participants will learn how to use a sewing machine along with some basic hand-sewing skills. This activity is flexible, allowing for different projects tailored to the group’s preferences. Each child will take home their completed sewing project.

Pricing for Sewing Machine Activities:

  • Base Fee: $360, which includes up to 6 children. Each additional child is $60, with a maximum of 13 children.
  • Duration: 3 hours. Exceeding 30 minutes will incur a $50 additional fee; exceeding 1 hour will incur a $100 additional fee.
  • Venue: The party will use the entire studio space.

Party Time Arrangements

  • Up to 11 kids: Two hours (includes 75 minutes of sewing activity and 45 minutes of food time).
  • 12-19 kids: 2.5 hours (includes 90 minutes of sewing and 60 minutes of food time).
  • 20 kids and more: Three hours (2 hours of sewing and 1 hour of food time).

Additional Charges

There is no additional charge for the standard party duration. However, if the party exceeds the scheduled time, an extra fee will apply:

  • Exceeding by up to half an hour: $50
  • Exceeding by up to one hour: $100

Party Cost and Payment

When booking a party, we collect a minimum charge of $260  for up to 8 kids. If you choose to use a sewing machine, the minimum charge is $360. Additional participants are $30 per kid or $60 per kid for sewing machine use. Please inform us of the number of attendees at least 3 days before the party to ensure we can accommodate; we collect the full charge before the party date. 

There is no refund or credit if any guest does not show up.

Party Decorations and Supplies:
We provide a backdrop cloth, but no decorations. You can arrive up to 30 minutes early if you need to set up. Please bring your own food, drinks, and any necessary tableware or utensils. The studio only provides materials and tools for the craft activities and does not supply any dining-related items. A refrigerator and microwave are available for party use.

We provide the backdrop cloth, and you can decorate it according to your needs. As shown in the picture.

Option A (Hand sewing )

Price $260 (up to 8 kids)

Option B  Entire studio use (Hand sewing )

Price $360 (up to 8 Kids) 

Duration: 2.5 hours

Venue: The entire studio space is used, with the large classroom for crafting and the inner party room for dining and cutting the cake

Option C (Using sewing machines)

Price $360 (up to 6 people)

The minimum charge is $360, applicable for up to 6 children and a maximum of 12 attendees. For each additional person beyond 6, there is an extra charge of $60.

Duration: 3 hours

Venue: The entire studio space is used, with the large classroom for crafting and the inner party room for dining and cutting the cake

Photo Permission

For the purpose of teaching and promotion, the studio may occasionally take photos during classes or parties and may potentially post these photos on studio website or social media platforms such as Red Book, Facebook, WeChat, and Instagram. If you do not want your child to appear in any photos, Please send email to winniesewingstudio@gmail.com to let us know.
